Staycation in Cornwall

Hi all,

My blog posts have been scarcer than I would like and I'm hoping to rectify that, I am just so busy at the moment, since February I have been working ridiculous hours and so my hubby treated us to a birthday trip for me to Cornwall for a much needed break for us all. 

We stayed at Mawgan Porth which is my absolute favourite place in Cornwall and one I have been visiting since I was a child and we were so lucky with absolutely beautiful weather in October. 

Lot's of shrimps and fish and finally after much searching, a lovely crab to show Sofia

We had a lovely drive down there which took 3 hours but flew by but we took 5 hours coming back, after having to stop and faff about for a bit but luckily we had this gorgeous sun shade which helped keep her from going to nuts! She loves animals anyway so on the back it was lots of songs about cats, giraffes and birds lol 

We also took some of her favourite bath toys which we always do when we are staying away, her scuba swimming toy, spillers and a bath book

Lovely food, quality family time, gorgeous rockpools, October Sunshine and a glass of gin & tonic or 2 were just what was needed. Had the most wonderful time and am back feeling refreshed to crack on with getting ready for the Xmas season and lot's of exciting new things to come at Love My Lot.
